Highland Associates completed the design of the multi-floor restack project at Pershing Plaza for BNY Mellon. We provided the Architecture, Interior Design as well as the MEP Engineering services for the project. The goal of this project was to return 5 floors of the building back to the landlord by densifying the remaining 9 floors. The entire project was approximately 300,000 sq. ft.

The scope of services included Programming through Design, Construction Documents and Construction Administration. The restack includes new elevator lobbies, bathrooms, a health facility, and a flexible multi-purpose conference center featuring state of the art AV capabilities. In addition, the executive wing of the project is a high-end design featuring complex lighting, materials, and branding in keeping with the bank’s mission statement. In addition, Highland Associates’ engineers were responsible for “divorcing” the building’s infrastructure for the give back floors.
