Highland Associates, in conjunction with Christian Lahoude Studio,
designed the new Jimmy Choo fagship store located in the Upper
East Side of New York City. Christian Lahoude Studio provided concept
genesis while Highland became the Executive Architect while generating
design development, Architectural and MEP construction documents and
detailing for the new store location. This location had its own unique
characteristics, in keeping with Jimmy Choo’s elegant global store
concept and the fact that the building is protected under the Landmarks
Preservation Commission, with white marble floors, painted gypsum
suspended ceilings, coved track lighting and brass finishes. The project
was separated into two separate phases. Phase 2 is currently under
construction. The effort of both the Design and Construction Team
successfully transformed this space and has opened in time to meet the
busy selling season.
