Highland Associates was chosen as the architect for a new central support and warehouse facility at the Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center. This medical school, teaching hospital and research center has been in existence since 1966, and since 1970, the campus has grown from 318 to 550 acres.
With growing operational needs, Penn State Hershey Medical Center decided to consolidate several functions into one convenient area. The result is a new 42,800 square foot facility that houses the campus materials supply and distribution operations, maintenance shops, offices for Environmental Health Services and other office space.
